Of the 172 estate agents who took part in the survey, many have become indifferent to Brexit since the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union back in June.

In a previous survey, 22 per cent of estate agents said that they did not see a Brexit plan as a necessity. This figure increased to over 40 per cent when the respondents were asked again in November 2016.

Of the respondents, 53 per cent said that they do not believe that Brexit has had a notable effect on their business as of yet, whereas 40 per cent said that the Brexit vote has had some negative impacts.

As well as this, 55 per cent said that they have not seen any changes to property prices since Britain voted to leave the European Union; however, 37 per cent said that the vote for Brexit has caused some disruption to house prices which has resulted in lost sales.

Whilst 60 per cent of the respondents said that they have seen no change in the amount of first-time buyers since the Brexit vote, 17 per cent said that they had seen an increase.  Similarly, 65 per cent said that there has been no change in the amount of foreign investors, whereas 10 per cent said that they have noticed a rise.

Since Brexit, 28 per cent of the respondents said that they have noticed an increase in withdrawals; however, 63 per cent said they have noticed no change.
