Paid research studies

Paid research studies come in many forms from incentivised online surveys to paid clinical trials. They are designed as a way to gauge the market and for companies to ensure they are targeting the right audiences and testing the effectiveness of their products.

Market research studies cover a wide array of topics, and as such, if the individual does not fit the criteria of one study, they may still be able to participate in another.

There are two key types of research study; these are quantitative which involve static pre-planned responses that can be easily analysed by the researcher. The other is qualitative which involves more open ended answers that can be elaborated upon to present ‘opinion’ based responses. Qualitative research yields more in-depth data, but both can help companies make effective market decisions.
