CCWater has commissioned DJS Research for their annual Water Matters survey

For the fifth year running, we are working alongside the Consumer Council for Water, to help them understand what customers want from their utilities supplier.

Following the recent contract agreement, DJS Research is set to provide findings across England and Wales for their 2017-18 annual Water Matters survey.

In short, the survey will reveal customer views of their water and sewerage services across England and Wales and present the findings in a report, infographic and animated video.

Having worked with CCWater on the Water Matters survey in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015, the survey will focus on five key areas that have been identified as important to consumers of water and sewerage services.

 These include:

·       Value for money

·       Problems to be sorted out quickly without hassle

·       Safe, secure and reliable supply of water

·       Fully working sewerage systems

·       Influencing improvements for consumers

With fieldwork due to begin in October, the research team are tracking customers views and concerns regarding their water and sewerage services by conducting 3,950 telephone interviews across 23 different water companies.

Collectively, the research team working on the project hold 50 years of experience in the water sector, having worked on a variety of projects for numerous utility companies and are pleased to work with CCWater again.

Research Director and project leader, Sharon Nichols, comments: “We are delighted that DJS Research has been awarded this contract for the next two years and selected to conduct this important study on behalf of CCWater.”
