Hollie joined the DJS Research Graduate programme in August 2018, as a Junior Research Executive.

Before working at DJS she worked as a temporary researcher for a legal market research company. This involved conducting telephone interviews, transcribing and editing interviews.

She graduated in 2018 with a 1st (BA Hons) in Politics and Philosophy from Manchester Metropolitan University. During this time, she became accustomed to analysing primary and secondary information. She also designed a research project which received recognition and an award from the Politics department for achieving the highest grade across all final year students. The research project aimed to uncover whether the greater use of social media accounts amongst UK political parties lead to an influx of participation amongst younger people in the 2017 General Election.

She is particularly interested in public sector research, but is looking forward to gaining experience across a wide range of research departments.
