lRyoko started her market research career at a London-based agency in 2017 after obtaining MSc Gender, Development and Globalisation at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has worked on both quantitative and qualitative research across diverse markets including the UK, Japan, South Korea, China, Europe and the US. 

The clients included BBC, Subaru, Mistubishi Estate, Dentsu, Sanofi Aventis, and more. In the previous job at another agency called Insight Dojo, Ryoko worked on a research project to provide insight of how a client (independent school in London) can encourage more girls to choose/retain A-Level physics through both interviews and a questionnaire. This sparked interest in her to focus more on the sector.

Originally from Japan, Ryoko is bilingual in English and Japanese and has a working knowledge of Bengali, having lived in Kobe, London, Edinburgh, Brussels, North Carolina, and Satkhira (Bangladesh).
