Market Research Jobs & Careers - Senior HR Officer - HR Manager :: Head Office Cheshire (Strines) or Leeds

We now seek an experienced HR Manager to join the team. The role will be made available on a Part Time of Full Time basis for the right candidate and Salary will be negotiable dependent upon experience. We operate from 2 locations, again for the right candidate, the role could be based at either our Strines Head Office or our Leeds office with travel between the two as required.

This is effectively a new role in that you will be the first dedicated HR Manager and therefore we seek someone with a broad level of experience in day to day HR Matters and someone who has the personality and knowledge to make a real difference to the organisation. We see this person being a key advisor and a link between Directors, Management and Staff.

The HR Manager will report into the Head of Finance, the MD as required and contribute when necessary to the SMT. Admin support may be available for the role and also specialist advice and support if needed can be sought via our professional advisors.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
•    Provide a well rounded & comprehensive HR service to the business in line with current UK legislation, company policy and best practice
•    Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and reflect UK employment law
•    Build strong relationships across the business, providing support to line managers on all people related issues
•    Overseeing resourcing and recruitment, coordinating the recruitment & selection process.
•    Planning and conducting new employee inductions
•    Ensuring all employee records are full, accurate and up to date and linking with payroll as appropriate
•    Managing the annual performance appraisal process
•    Advising managers on Employee Relation issues and managing more complex cases
•    To provide comprehensive advice in employee relations issues and provide professional support in disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, discrimination and capability cases, ensuring that the company deals with all employee relations matters in a timely, fair and consistent manner, ensuring strict adherence to HR policies and procedures.
•    To ensure that accurate HR records are maintained and appropriate systems are developed in order to provide a range of regular management reports in respect of HR topics,
