Alasdair Gleed
Research Director
Alasdair started his research career in 1998 at B&MR (now Harris Interactive). In 2001 he moved to Ci Research where he became an Associate Director. Alasdair joined DJS as a Research Director in 2008.
He works across a broad range of sectors, including vast experience in the following areas:
• Healthcare and social marketing
• Financial services
• Pharmaceutical / medical
• Culture and collections
• Education
• International research
Alasdair has extensive experience of managing international research projects. Since arriving at DJS he has travelled to a number of countries to manage overseas research projects, most recently in India and Bangladesh.
Closer to home, he has vast experience of public consultation and social marketing research on behalf of numerous NHS clients. He also has experience of research with healthcare professionals for both NHS and pharmaceutical clients.
In the private sector, Alasdair’s main specialism is financial services. He has worked with many of the world’s leading insurers and banks. He also regularly works with leading advertising and branding agencies to develop client brands, propositions and campaigns. Outside of this, Alasdair has carried out research for a broad range of clients from high street retailers to kitchen sink manufacturers! This includes both consumer and Business to Business research.
Alasdair is an experienced group moderator and qualitative researcher. He is equally comfortable with quantitative techniques, and has worked on many projects combining both approaches.
He has a BA (Hons) in International Business and the MRS Advanced Certificate.
