Steph Skupien, our Head of Creative Services, graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree in Graphic Design, and has spent the last nine years in the design industry at a number of design agencies and studios in London and Manchester. Working with well-known clients and producing award-winning work, she has gained a wealth of experience in branding, infographics, illustration and artwork. She is also a part-time lecturer at Staffordshire University on the Advertising & Brand Management course.

Steph joined the DJS Research team at the beginning of 2015 as a Data Visualisation Specialist and was also fundamental in implementing the agency’s re-brand in 2014, from our stationery and templates to our signage and brand toolkit.

She straddles the marketing and research teams, where she works on campaigns and unique, bespoke deliverables for our clients. This provides her with excellent knowledge of how to get under the skin of research findings and highlight the key stories within, as well as a keen sense to of how to display complex processes in a clear and coherent format. She regularly creates visual stimulus for our focus groups which are utilised to ‘unpick’ complex business or pricing models, ideas and concepts and to present them in an easily understandable, clear and visually engaging.

From Steph’s experience, she is well-versed in seeing things client-side, with excellent organisational skills gleaned from efficient time management needed in the fast-paced creative industry, this lends her perfectly to creating and producing solutions that exceed expectations.
