Kate has worked in market research since 2000, having worked at some of the larger, international market research companies, including Ipsos (now Ipsos-MORI), and Harris Interactive, before joining DJS Research as a Research Manager in 2009. She works across a broad range of sectors, using both qualitative and quantitative research.  She particularly enjoys conducting market research in the following sectors:

  • Healthcare and pharmaceutical
  • Medical Technology
  • Education
  • Not for profit
  • Public sector

In addition to working in these sectors, Kate has extensive experience of managing large scale and complicated research projects such as international research projects, and research that requires complex analysis.

Kate excels at understanding her client’s needs and ensuring that she delivers quality, actionable insights, particularly through engaging and innovative presentations.  She works in both qualitative and quantitative research and is an experienced group moderator and qualitative researcher, as well as being comfortable with using a range of statistical techniques for larger scale quantitative research projects.

Kate has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminal Justice from University of Plymouth and the MRS Advanced Certificate. In addition to research she takes a lead role in supporting staff development and training, particularly supporting our junior researchers to study for the MRS Advanced Certificate qualification.
