Angharad Pearce

Angharad joined the Creative Services department in 2018. She graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Illustration with Animation from Manchester Metropolitan University. After graduation she was accepted to study at the Bristol School of Animation on a course organised by the makers of Wallace & Gromit, Aardman Animations, and in partnership with UWE.

During her career within the animation industry, she has spent a number of years on various different areas ranging from working on well-known children’s television programs, retail adverts, video editing and e-learning.

She is able to work in a range of animation styles including traditional animation, stop motion, motion graphics and also making models and props for animation. Throughout her career she has worked for a wide variety of clients through freelance and in full-time work. A particular highlight is being a part of an animation team that went on to win a BAFTA for Best Animated Short.

Angharad has always had a keen interest in anything creative and getting involved, having also volunteered at art galleries, craft shows, festivals and set building/prop making at a local theatre.

Whilst at DJS Research, Angharad has created many animations and videos as final outputs to highlight client research findings, or as stimulus to support respondent understanding.

She has worked for clients including Next, Liverpool Victoria (LVI), Westmill Foods & UKVI.
