Saffron Goodwin

Saffron joined DJS Research as a Junior Research Executive in September 2019 after graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First Class degree in Politics. Since then she has received two much deserved promotions and is now a Senior Research Executive. 

Whilst studying, Saffron gained work experience at DJS Research, working across CATI and Data Support as well as transcribing depth interviews and focus groups. Whilst at university Saffron designed a research project looking at what influences citizens to support overseas military action, as well as undertaking a project using SPSS to understand the connection between education and voting preferences. These aspects of her university course, together with her work experience at DJS Research, sparked a keen interest in research.

Since joining the research team, Saffron has worked across a range of projects such as a large tracker for a well-known media organisation, and a number of qualitative projects with children and families. Saffron particularly enjoys being involved with the analysis on any project, and creating a story from either quantitative or qualitative data.
