Jack graduated with a BA (Hons) in Geography from Lancaster University in 2013. He returned home to Stoke-on-Trent to work as a Web Analyst for Phones4U before continuing his studies at UCL, graduating with an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology.

Jack then lived and volunteered in Poland for nine months on an Erasmus+ programme, running cultural exchange sessions and promoting volunteer programmes to students across the region.

Returning to London, he began his research career at Revealing Reality, working as a qualitative researcher for clients such as the BBC, Macmillan Cancer Support, Arthritis Research UK and The Money Advice Service.

Following a stint at digital marketing agency, Three Whiskey, where he helped to establish a research team in a start-up, his last role was as a mixed methods researcher at Illuminas where he developed quantitative skills to back up his expertise in qualitative methods.

Moving out of London after four years, Jack is now based in Hastings, East Sussex and joins DJS Research as a mostly remote working SRE, typically working across the charitable and public sectors for clients such as the Tate museums and Royal London Docks.
