Jamie graduated with a first-class honours degree in Economics and Politics from Lancaster University in 2015. He then went on to join the Charityworks graduate scheme as an Asset Management Analyst for a housing association based in Derbyshire. After completing the scheme, he furthered his education at the University of Manchester, achieving a distinction in Governance and Public Policy (MA).
Following this, Jamie decided to employ the skills he had developed in academia by pursuing a career in research. He joined BMG Research as a Graduate Research Executive in 2017 where he honed his quantitative and qualitative research skills on a variety of projects for public sector organisations including comms evaluations, national consumer surveys, stakeholder engagement studies and customer satisfaction research.
In 2021, Jamie joined DJS Research as a Senior Research Executive and was quickly promoted to Research Manager. In November 2024 he was promoted to Associate Director in recognition of the strength of his performance not only in terms of delivery but in his effective management of large scale highly complex projects.
Jamie has worked with organisations across a range of sectors including local government, charity/third sector, public health, and utilities. Outside of project delivery, Jamie actively contributes to the growth and development of DJS on a wider scale. Heis a valued and respected member of our Productivity and Efficiency team and has a particular interest in developments in AI and ChatGPT.
