Jamie graduated with a first-class honours degree in Economics and Politics from Lancaster University in 2015. He then went on to join the Charityworks graduate scheme as an Asset Management Analyst for a housing association based in Derbyshire. After completing the scheme, he furthered his education at the University of Manchester, achieving a distinction in Governance and Public Policy (MA).

Following this, Jamie decided to employ the skills he had developed in academia by pursuing a career in research. He joined BMG Research as a Graduate Research Executive in 2017 where he honed his quantitative and qualitative research skills on a variety of projects for public sector organisations including comms evaluations, national consumer surveys, stakeholder engagement studies and customer satisfaction research.

In 2021, Jamie joined DJS Research as a Senior Research Executive and was quickly promoted to Research Manager.

During this time, Jamie has worked with organisations across a range of sectors including local government, charity/third sector, public health, and utilities.
