Holly first graduated from the University of Leeds in 2015 with a BA in History with Russian Civilisation. During this time, she completed a Year in Industry working for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority in the Communications department, which involved assisting in redesigning and launching a new website, and internal and external comms during the Tour de Yorkshire Grand Départ.

She then graduated again in 2018 with an MA in Writing for Performance and Publication from the University of Leeds, focusing on writing for underrepresented audiences and tech-based platforms.

During her MA, she began her research career at Trinity McQueen, working across sectors including grocery, education and utilities, on a variety of projects ranging from UX testing to product testing and event evaluations. With a strong focus on agile methodologies and creative insight delivery, Holly has developed both qualitative and quantitative skills throughout her career with a focus on ‘bringing audiences to life’ for clients. She also spoke at IIeX Europe in 2019 about ways to make film and video work for all kinds of insight.

In 2020, she undertook a CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing, to develop her skills in brand strategy and planning. This, alongside her extensive qualitative experience, allows her to get equally close to the needs of the consumer, as well as clients.

Joining DJS in 2021, Holly is looking forward to working in the Culture sector, and applying her experience in both research and the arts to all kinds of projects.
