Jemma graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 2018 with an MA (hons) degree in interpreting and translating (French/Spanish). During her time at university she undertook a master’s dissertation and modules in: European politics and institutions; French and Spanish history and culture; and BSL and working with deaf communities.

Before joining DJS Research Ltd, Jemma worked as a linguist for Global Voices and then as a Qualitative Analyst at Traverse. She has always been passionate about social issues and empowering people to have their say, whether it be through removing language barriers or by conducting research.

Jemma joined DJS Research in May 2023 as a Research Executive with a strong desire to grow and learn from the wealth of talent and experience within the company.
