Ali joined DJS Research in 2005 from Harris Interactive where she was Associate Director. An experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher, Ali specialises in a number of sectors including:

• Utilities (Thames Water, United Utilities, Powergen Npower, EDF Energy, SWALEC, Aquila Networks and YEDL)
• Education & Training (Ufi/learndirect, University of Surrey, St Helens College)
• Retail - including Home Shopping (Marks & Spencer, Littlewoods, Iceland, Shop-Direct formerly GUS)
• Public Sector (Investors in People UK, Devon and Cornwall LSC, Wakefield College)
• Healthcare (Pfizer and Durex)

Ali started her market research career 17 years ago. After graduating from the University of Sheffield with a BA in Geography, she joined the Research Department at Leicestershire TEC (now LSC), where she was heavily involved in School Leavers research, research into Government training programmes and Employer Surveys across a variety of sectors.

Ali joined Business and Market Research (now Harris Interactive) in 1996, where she spent several years heading up a team of 10 researchers focusing on business-to-business and consumer research across a range of sectors. During her time at B&MR, Ali was also involved in running MRS training courses in business to business research and quantitative techniques. 

Since joining DJS Research, Ali has enjoyed working closely with clients across the utilities, education and retail sectors. Her knowledge of these sectors means that she can add value at all stages of the research process including recommending the best research approach, engaging internal stakeholders and presenting the findings to senior audiences.
