The role
The role of the Senior Data Executive in the Data team is a pivotal position within the business and will involve working closely with research teams, other members of the Data team and the Data Operations Manager. They will contribute to departmental performance (Innovation, technical expertise, efficiency/ automation and quality assurance), as well as building and enhancing relationships within the Data department and the wider company.
We are looking for a hardworking, self-starter who can meet the core objectives of the role but also someone who can strategically look at how we can improve and expand our DATA services.
Candidates applying for this position must have held line responsibility for managing complex and high value projects for clients and ideally have some element of line management experience, along with delivering training, performance management and productivity measurement within the context of their role(s). Candidates must also be capable of creating and working to ISO quality procedures. Salary dependent on experience.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, full-time and can be based at our Head Office (Strines), Leeds or remote working.

The candidate will have excellent technical skills, be highly numerate and be skilled at managing and making sense of large volumes of data.
Experience/qualification
The Senior Data Executive should have experience in both script creation (using a variety of capture programmes) and production of data tables and analysis platforms. They should have a good level of skills and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery - experience with other programming languages such as R, Python or VBA would be advantageous. The candidate should also be proficient with Excel and SPSS. The applicant should have the relevant experience to offer support and advice to junior members of the data services team, project manage their workload and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the business to ensure that all client expectations are met.
Ideally the candidate should have strong experience with data collection platforms and feel at home with handling complex, visually engaging online surveys, as well as being able to develop systems to automate the format, analysis & transfer of data.
