Growth Rate
Growth Rate
Usually shown as a percentage, growth rate records the fluctuating size of a given population by plotting the change from a specific point in time. The growth rate is calculated by dividing the total positive or negative change (i.e. increase or decrease in population) over a period by the average population during that same period.
