The company has experienced an exceptional year of growth with turnover now very close to the £1 million mark.

DJS Research was initially set-up by Danny Sims in 2001 who worked as a freelance researcher for other research agencies. Since this time, the company has developed into a leading full service North West agency, with turnover growing year on year.

The significant growth has meant a continuous stream of new recruits at the company, including over the last two months:

Sarah Smith, Senior Research Executive, formerly from Conquest Research
Maya Winter, Senior Research Executive, formerly from Ci Research
Lyn Allen, Senior Research Executive, previously from Harris Interactive
Matt Coulling, Head of Data Services, previously from Quaestor

DJS Research Ltd now employs 16 permanent staff and 15 temporary telephone interviewers at its High Peak office.

"2009 was a challenging year for the market research industry but we have managed to buck the trend with a fantastic year of growth", reports Research Director James Hinde. "I believe now, more than ever, clients are looking to stretch their research budgets and achieve "more for less", which is something that we offer at DJS. We are competitive but offer senior Directors/Researchers from start to finish, who are able to deliver insightful results."

Senior Research Executive Lyn Allen who has recently joined the team, said "I am excited to be part of DJS Research's future plans. It is an innovative, forward thinking agency, with many bright ideas that demonstrate it knows how to survive challenging times."

Moving into the new financial year, Managing Director Danny Sims is optimistic about the future and confident that the company can achieve future growth targets and their aim to build the strongest research team in the North West.
