We have selected a new charity of the year: Together Trust!

We are pleased to announce that our new charity of the year partnership is with Together Trust – a local charity, based in Cheadle, Cheshire, which provides services for people with behavioural challenges, physical difficulties, learning difficulties, autism and complex health needs. Our partnership will include regular charitable donations from DJS Research to Together Trust and undertaking various initiatives to support fund raising activities. As well as this we will be working closely with Together Trust to offer other opportunities for their pupils, for example, work experience placements, as well as participating in Together Trust’s various fundraising events, such as the ‘It’s a Knockout’ event in the Summer and the Cheadle Festival.
Together Trust runs three special education facilities in the Greater Manchester area: Ashcroft School, which caters for children and teenagers aged between 5 and 18, Inscape House School, which meets the needs of children and teenagers aged between 4 and 19 and Bridge College, which facilitates young people up to the age of 25.
We have recently taken part in Together Trust’s #EqualChristmasForAll campaign, which saw many of our staff donate toiletries, food items and toys which were then assembled into hampers to be distributed to service users. DJS Research’s contributions helped the charity organise 96 hampers in total – a fantastic figure!
As well as previous donations, two of our Researchers, James Hinde and Claire Jackson, have used their voluntary day at the charity, helping to renovate a disused outhouse into a sensory room. James composed a blog about the experience, which can be read here. The pair thoroughly enjoyed the day and very much look forward to volunteering at Together Trust in the near future!
Speaking of DJS Research’s new partnership with Together Trust, Danny Sims, Managing Director here at DJS, said:
“Helping charities such as Together Trust, is something that we take real pride in. Market Research is a great platform for the promotion of charitable causes, mainly because research projects involve a huge amount of people, including researchers, clients and respondents. During our partnership, we hope to raise awareness about the fabulous work which the Together Trust do and all the fantastic services they offer, as well as raising money for such a worthy cause.”
