Internet Market Research

As the internet has become increasingly a part of everyday life, so too has it become a part of market research. Internet research has grown at a rapid pace over the last few years due to the increasing number of commercial and leisure activites which take place online - the internet is a source of both information and respondents.

Quantitiative internet market research is most easily carried out via a web survey through which respondents reply to an online questionnaire - normally provided via an email link. One advantage of this kind of research is that the results are instantaneous, and the researcher has access to data relatively quickly and easily. It also makes quote management fairly responsive.

Qualitative internet research may be in the form of online focus groups, discussion boards, or forums - meaning that respondents who may share interests but are spread over large distances can be brought together, and than long-term research projects can more easily be managed.

DJS Research Ltd offers a range of internet market research services including both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
