DJS Research Executives Aiming For Advanced Accreditation

25th July 2011 11:09

Following a policy of continued investment in staff and resources, four researchers at DJS Research Ltd have recently begun the process of gaining Market Research Society (MRS) advanced accreditation. Graduates Alex McCluckie and Laura Crowe will undertake the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice, along with Alexandra Noden and Matt Bristow.

The qualification, which is ‘the leading, fastest growing, degree level vocational qualification for the research sector’ is designed to ‘provide candidates with a practical grounding in the principles and techniques which underpin effective research.’

Assisted both by Associate Director, Kate Slater, and via workshops held by DJS Research Directors, the Researchers will become competent in all aspects of the market research process. Throughout the process they will work on an assignment - typically the completion of a market research brief and related proposal. The assessment will culminate in a final exam in January.

Speaking at the outset, Kate had the following to say:

All four of those undertaking the certificate are excellent researchers and completing this process will be a testament to that fact. We talk a lot about investing in DJS as a business – and we feel that any investment should start with the staff. I look forward to working with our researchers towards the completion of their qualifications, and to celebrating with them at the end of January.”
