We are delighted to announce the appointment of Julie Hollingsworth as an Associate Director.

Julie comes to us with a wealth of experience of the market research industry having worked at BMG Research since 2003 (with some freelancing for a few years in between). With a background  in public sector/social research, she has worked with clients such as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), HMRC, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Transport Focus and various local/combined authorities like West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester Combined Authorities.

Her appointment at DJS Research will see her focus on quantitative or multi-mode research studies for similar clients/sectors within the public sector such as public attitudes surveys; safety; health and wellbeing; transport; and business/employer surveys), and possibly some charities.

Julie said of her new role:

"Moving away from an agency that I’d been associated with for nearly 20 years was a really big decision for me, especially as a single mum to two teenage boys, but I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and reassured at DJS that I’ve made the right decision.

"Achieving a healthier work/life balance, as well as being able to continue working with a broad range of clients in the public/social research sector, on topics and issues that really make a difference to peoples’ lives was really important to me."

"DJS’s focus on employee wellbeing and a culture that really cares about its staff came through strongly to me in the external communications I’d seen, as well as during the recruitment process, so this, together with DJS’s significant presence in the public sector and its work with many charities was a big attraction for me."
