Telephone Surveys Market Research

Our research team and telephone survey unit has extensive experience of conducting telephone survey market research across a number of sectors amongst consumer and business to business audiences in both the UK and internationally (we have interviewers fluent in more than 20+ languages). You can click on the following link to hear from one of our specialist B2B interviewers about their experience of telephone surveys for B2B research, or alternatively, to meet our telephone interviewers, geel free to visit our dedicated CATI Interviewing Team webpage.

Telephone research is a widely used methodology and forms part of many market research projects. The comparatively low cost and relatively high response rate (when contrasted with postal self-completion for instance) makes telephone interviewing an efficient and cost effective methodology. DJS Research Ltd is perfectly positioned to take advantage of this, due to our in-house CATI (Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing) enabled telephone unit.

Our CATI unit is managed by a director, who has more than 25 years' experience in this area. The department has more than 50 stations and utilises state of the art software to allow our telephone survey market research projects to be integrated with other forms of data capture - including CAPI and online surveys for instance. Our software also allows real-time tracking of complete interviews to ensure effective and timely quota management, and to facilitate the best utilisation of available sample; whether that has been provided by the client or whether we have sourced it ourselves. In addition, we are able to provide live results to our clients as interviews finish.

Telephone Survey Market Research

Interviews are conducted by experienced telephone interviewers who have worked within the industry for a number of years and have conducted thousands of market research interviews. In addition, we also have a specialist business to business interviewing team who conduct B2B telephone survey market research on a daily basis and are skilled at securing interviews with senior business leaders and hard to reach groups. Recent target audiences include HR Directors for FTSE 100 companies, architects in the USA, Japan, the UK and Finland, and logistics managers for SMEs.

We carry out telephone interviews throughout the UK and internationally - taking in to account varying time-zones, and ensuring our telephone unit is staffed at the appropriate times for every project.

Telephone Surveys Market Research Case Studies

Large Scale Customer Satisfaction Research: We are currently engaged in a major piece of customer satisfaction tracking research for a large consumer facing organisation. As part of this research, our telephone interviewers carry out NPS research with customers between Monday and Saturday. Fresh sample for this project is sent to our operations team on a daily basis via a secure system, and aggregated results are automatically returned to the client at the close of research on each day.

Engaging Specific Stakeholders: We have completed numerous projects which have involved carrying out research with hard to reach audiences and specific stakeholders. A good example of this is our research for the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly for which we were tasked with contacting members of Local Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, Universities, Jobcentres and numerous other stakeholders from the public and private sectors. Following our research, our client had the following to say:

"The DJS team were incredibly professional and accommodating. They were also able to produce a well-written and evidenced report in a quick time. We received excellent feedback on the conduct and friendly nature of the DJS team and have since recommended DJS to our colleagues in other regions. We would therefore be more than happy to work with DJS again."
