2016 DJS Research Annual Review

A huge thank you to our clients, respondents, suppliers and staff: A summary of our 2016…Market research growth

2016 has been another year of intense activity for DJS Research, with many new additions to our team, venturing overseas, representing our industry at the highest levels, developing further niche products and winning awards!
Based on the last official published Market Research Society figures we are now one of the 10 fastest growing agencies in the UK. For the 11th consecutive year we have achieved double digit growth (17%) and are now set to achieve very close to the £5M turnover mark. Our growth continues to be organic (no external funding) through retaining and attracting new clients and delivering high quality research services.

As a result of the fantastic growth we have seen this year; we have had several high-profile client wins and can reveal that we have worked on projects for the likes of boohoo.com, the Department for Work and Pensions, Help for Heroes, Porsche, the European Commission and Save the Children!

We continue to represent the industry at the highest levels
This year we presented to the EU Commission in Brussels twice (where we addressed an audience of delegates and interpreters from all 28 EU Member States), the FTA Logistics Skills Summit, in Delhi at a worldwide symposium on Interdisciplinary research and the Market Research Society conference for Kids ResearchWe were also published in the Guardian.

In October, we were selected from 500 European Market Research companies as the winners of a survey excellence award – the SSI Quest Award.
The fantastic win was announced in front of 800 researchers at the Esomar Congress in New Orleans. We won in the QUEST-T General Consumer – Europe category, which is based on survey structure and multi-device responsiveness.Award winning market research company
We scored 99.6 out of a possible 100, making us one of the three highest scoring winners across the 12 categories!

Throughout 2016, our Research team has continued to grow in size, and is supported by more than 100 in-house CATI interviewers and 1,000 field interviewers based across the United Kingdom.

Giving back to the community…

This year we have helped many charities and local good causes – the main one being our charity of the year, the Together Trust, who we partnered with in January. The Together Trust is a local charity to us, based in Cheadle, Cheshire, which provides services for people with behavioural challenges, physical difficulties, learning difficulties, autism and complex health needs.

We have donated £4,142 to charity through fundraising activities such as “It’s a Knockout” style fun days and raffles, through to national events, such as Christmas Jumper days and the Morrisons’ Great North Run!
