This glorious weather isn’t the only thing that’s given us a reason to celebrate this month...we’re delighted to announce a summertime wave of richly deserved promotions across DJS Research! These 6 upward moves in both Research and Operations take our total number of promotions for 2025 so far into double digits, with 14 ascents since the start of the year including the creation of seven new senior positions (at SRM level and above).

This latest cluster of promotions includes Associate Research Director positions for Amy Greenwood and Vicky Mullis. Both highly experienced researchers, they are invaluable senior members of their immediate teams, and each plays an active role in the wider company to hugely positive effect.

New Associate Directors Amy Greenwood and Vicky Mullis

Amy’s promotion coincides with her fourth anniversary at DJS Research. Since joining us as Research Manager in 2021 her passion and enthusiasm, and commitment to continually expanding her research knowledge, has seen her progress quickly. Beyond project work Amy is closely involved in our company training programme, delivering both training courses and knowledge share sessions on a regular basis, and she is also a regular contributor to our company website, writing thoughtful articles on a range of subjects. Director Helen Menzies commented on Amy’s natural ability to handle multifaceted projects with ease and her excellent client management skills, describing how “clients and colleagues alike love working with her”- you can’t say fairer than that!

Vicky Mullis joined us in Spring 2023 bringing over a decade of experience working with organisations across the culture, charity and public sector. As a senior lead in research team Haven Hill, Vicky leads the project management and delivery of some of their most complex accounts. Vicky is also a Social Value lead at DJS Research and is a driving force behind our strategic Corporate Social Responsibility pillar. Her voluntary role as a Specialist Enterprise Advisor for the Greater Manchester Enterprise Advisor network is the direct result of her genuine passion for supporting young people, and helping prepare them, for the world of work. This charity connects young people with employers to deliver meaningful career interactions and Vicky has forged a close relationship with local high school, Bramhall High, coordinating support at careers events across the year.

Other promotions within our Research department include recognition for Holly Collins and Alexandre Tatry-Gautier who have both moved up to Senior Research Managers.

Holly's energy has been described as 'infectious', creating a positive and enjoyable project experience for all who work with her. One of our clients recently shared this fantastic feedback, citing Holly as ‘a credit to the DJS brand! Her enthusiasm really carried through to the room and led to some fascinating discussion’. Alexandre - or ATG as he's fondly called here at DJS - specialises in employee research and plays a crucial role on several multi-year contracts as well as working to grow and optimise the breadth of our employee offering.

Over in our Data team, the strong leadership qualities of Jason Fairhurst and Jo Miller have been a driver behind the creation of two new Data Team Lead roles. These roles are not only a promotional step for Jason and Jo, but they also form an essential part of the Data Team’s wider restructure.

Speaking about these development, Data Operations Manager Liam Pringle explained how each Team Lead brings a different set of qualities to the role; “Jo’s accuracy and attention to detail is second to none and her wealth of experience, producing excellent work as standard, positions her perfectly to drive forward training and mentorship across the Data Team. Jason’s technical proficiency and passion for identifying new ways to improve and automate processes means he’s best placed to support our team’s technical development as well as playing a central role in our organisation’s ongoing transition to Forsta+. Jo and Jason will work closely together and they’ve taken to their new roles like ducks to water!”.

Our Managing Director Al Gleed shared his thoughts on these most recent promotions and what they mean for DJS Research;

We’re proud to be recognising the talents of so many individuals, all of whom make an invaluable contribution to DJS Research. These well-deserved promotions are testament to a lot of hard work and reflect the commitment to professional development our Partners have continued to demonstrate since joining us.

Recruitment drives headcount, and helps long-term growth, but as an employee-owned organisation we believe internal investment in our people must come first and can deliver even greater, and more positive, benefits – at both an individual and business-wide level.

Well done to all our Partners who have taken another big step forward on the DJS Research career ladder and thanks for your continued efforts – they have not gone unnoticed”.
